Ruth’s framed drawing

Ruth brought in a piece of work she had framed. It is great to see this development within the class. It is often an ambition people have to get to a stage where they can show work to a wider public and when this time comes it is worth going to a professional framer. In this case Ruth went to Ian at Fulford Framing on Fishergate, York, who I used successfully for the Oliver House exhibition in 2009. Ian is good at suggesting what might work for your image and has two other members of staff that are equally helpful.

Anyway a good job done on Ruth’s nude and enhances what is a strong drawing. I believe three people have framed their piece from this project which is very pleasing for teacher.
