The brief this week in June was to look at something that had little to inspire you. Quite hard to decide what to chose when you are looking for something with little aesthetic value and then make a drawing out of what you see.

It was a drawing week and I am trying to keep a high proportion of lessons in this discipline even though people will often opt for painting. I find that drawing is so key to all aspects of artistic development that we should push this skill.

The last image was me drawing a value shortbread biscuit and jokingly labeling it the Brexit Biscuit. At this point one week before the referendum, there was utmost confidence in a remain vote.
